Yichun has experience in patent prosecution, IP licensing, IP landscape analysis, IP strategy and management. Her patent prosecution work includes electronics, telecommunications, computer hardware and software, and artificial intelligence technologies.

Yichun has a broad research background in Physics and Mathematics. During college, Yichun conducted yearlong research in ultracold atomic physics and produced a senior thesis on Bose-Einstein Condensation and the Non-linear Schrodinger Equation. She also conducted research in cryptography and co-authored a senior capstone thesis in Elliptical Cryptography. She also has research experience in Japanese Mathematics History and Abstract Algebra with a focus on Origami constructions.

Yichun is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
